The Pigmented Skin Lesion Interest Group includes interested pathologists and dermatologists from the academic and private sectors in Cape Town. The members share interesting and troublesome cases on an ongoing basis and meet once a month to discuss selected cases. The group strives towards improved diagnostic standards by means of consultation, study, and quality assurance. Cases are referred from time to time to other pathologists with an interest in pigmented skin lesions, both nationally and internationally.
